Peoria is the 5th Largest City in Illinois, but is also considered the largest city in Illinois outside of Chicago, which is 3 Hours away. Also, Peoria is considered to have the 2nd Best Skyline in Illinois next to Chicago. In the 1920s, the Commerce Bank Building was built as the city's tallest building. In the 1980s, the city went through a big Revitalization Project. The Twin Towers Place were built as the new tallest buildings in the city. Later on, the Becker Building was built in 1992. The city has an 8 County Metro Area. This is considered to be Illinois' 2nd Largest Metro Area after Chicago.

Peoria is easily accessible on I-74.
From The South
Take I-55 from Saint Louis north to I-74 west from Bloomington-Normal.
From The West
Take I-74 from the Quad Cities east.
From The North
Take I-39 from Rockford south to I-55/74 in Bloomington-Normal west to the I-74 "west" exit.
