Well Know Facts

A Skyscraper is a building of 12 Floors or higher. Made of Fire-Proofed Steel and Iron, with concrete, stone, or just a curtain wall glass. This was the first type of building invented in Chicago, when the Home Insurance Building was built at the northwest corner of Adams and Clark Streets. The building was sadly demolished in 1931, to make way for the Bank of America Building (Chicago), which is also a very good looking skyscraper. Since that time in 1885, Architects have been building more of at least 150 Floors or higher.
